Miuccia Prada presented a Fall 1993 collection that was dubbed "haute hobo" by the New York Times. Their critic ultimately decided that, "Ms. Prada offers leather that looks, in a word, cool."

The early 90s collections of Prada were heavily inspired by 1970s Saint Laurent, as Ms. Prada herself was a champion of vintage clothing and wore many of the originals in her regular rotation of clothing.

This vest references the infamous Ballet Russe collections of Monsieur Saint Laurent. It featured black suede pants on the front that are stitched together with a crochet-like cable detail. The back is made of a black knit that feels like wool (this material isnt described on the clothing label). The vest carries the original Prada clothing labels, which are in whats now known as the hallmark shade of Prada blue.

Good condition for the age. The suede on the front has light marks and fading. The interior suede panels have some wear to them as well. Very rare piece and priced accordingly for the condition.
